Our Carrot and Ginger Jam is a very flavorful Jam, and it is really delicious as a topping for baked, broiled or grilled salmon. Select your salmon fillets and brush with olive oil. Season your salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper, and spread the top of your fish with a thin coating of Jams by Kim’s Carrot and Ginger Jam. You may bake (375 degrees), broil or grill your salmon until done (8-12 minutes depending on the thickness of your fillets. 8-9 minutes per inch of thickness is a general rule of thumb). This recipe also works well if you encase your salmon in foil wrap, but reduce cooking time to avoid over-cooking.
Hi Kim! Trying this tonight! But I know that I’ll never make it taste as good as you and Cooke do! Thank you for your thoughtfulness!
